Photon Technology International (PTI) Introduces - LS-1 A New Fluorescence Lifetime Instrument

"Its great to be back in the saddle again" said Charles Marianik, who together with Ron Kovach introduced the first modern day fluorescence lifetime system in 1975, based on time correlated single photon counting technique (TCSPC), when they were with Photochemical Research Associates Inc. ( PRA ). "Many things have changed since we first introduced a fluorescence lifetime instrument in 1975. The instrumentation is smaller, simpler and less expensive. What has remained the same is that Ron and I wanted to have a state of the art system. Hence the new LS-1 System."
Using the state-of-the-art TCSPC technique, the LS-1 is an integrated system making it smaller, easier to use and less expensive, while providing more accurate measurements.
