The highly successful patented DeltaScan™ (patent pending) coupled with PTI's new photon counting photometer for the ultimate sensitivity in detection, has been adapted for use with virtually any manufacturers' inverted microscope. This will allow for users to detect and study Calcium ions at single cell or even sub cellular levels. Since every cell in the human body depends on the presence of ionic calcium, the DeltaScan™ Micro system will for the first time permit the researcher to monitor the levels of Calcium ions in living cells.
