Photon Technology International, Inc (PTI) introduces the new FM-100™ Fluorescence Microscope Illuminator, which offers an unprecedented combination of flexibility, performance and ease-of-use. The system includes a quartz fiber optic coupling adaptable to all leading brands of inverted fluorescence microscopes, a quarter-meter monochromator for easy wavelength selection, without filters, and the most stable, powerful monochromator illuminator available. The FM-100™ Illuminator is perfectly suited for both qualitative and quantitative fluorescence research.
With full UV to IR capability, the FM-100™ monochromator comes standard with two micrometer-adjustable bilateral slits for precise bandpass control. In addition, a motorized monochromator driving accessory allows the user to program the illuminator for scanning wavelengths. The motor driver accessory is available with a stand-alone controller unit or as a PC computer interface card.
