General Information
PTI's quarter-meter class, Czerny-Turner type monochromators are extremely rugged and versatile, and are available in single (standard) and dual-grating (optional) versions. The monochromators are autocalibrated and under computer control.
An optional internal shutter is available; it is handy for reducing photo bleaching. Although the monochromators have low stray light, if even lower stray light is required, one can order a double monochromator option. |

Folding and flipping mirrors create a variety of configurations for multiple illumination/detection applications. The figure at right shows all of the configurations that are possible. Slashes (/) represent folding mirrors, and X's represent optional flipping mirrors. Monochromators are shipped with both entrance and exit folding mirrors (remove one or both to change configuration).
All monochromators are shipped with two continuously adjustable slit assemblies. Each optional flipping mirror includes an additional slit assembly.
